Kathleen holds a doctorate degree in Family Psychology and has over twenty five years of counseling experience. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and works with diverse issues with children, women, and families. Her areas of specialty include experiential play therapy, parent skills training, trauma, grief and loss, parent-child conflict, and recovery from physical, emotional, verbal, and sexual abuse. Kathleen has co-authored six books and has published numerous articles in professional journals and reference books. She has extensive experience teaching undergraduate and graduate college students, and has been involved in training and supervising other therapists.
