  • Yes. Many of our therapists are skilled in working with adults. We provide individual therapy to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. In addition, we offer parent coaching and support to help caregivers strengthen their connection with their child, navigate the challenges of parenting today, and reduce the impact of trauma triggers in parenting.

  • At this time, we do not specialize in couples therapy. However, we frequently support parents and caregivers with co-parenting, navigating the challenges of parenting, and strengthening family relationships in the context of trauma.

  • HHFC is contracted with many major insurance providers in Minnesota, including BCBS, HealthPartners, UCare, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, and Medicaid. Coverage may vary by therapist, so not all clinicians accept every insurance. Our referral coordinator can help answer your insurance questions, but we encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to confirm your mental health benefits and whether your specific provider is in-network.

  • Yes. HHFC offers both in-person and telehealth sessions. The best option depends on several factors, including age, presenting concerns, treatment modality, and proximity to the office. Your HHFC therapist will work with you to determine whether in-person, telehealth, or a combination of both is the most appropriate fit for you, your child, or your family.

  • HHFC is conveniently located just off Highway 36 and Rice Street in Roseville, Minnesota. Our office is in the professional building at 2489 Rice Street, Suite 270, less than 10 minutes from both downtown St. Paul and Rosedale Center. Free parking is available in the lot directly outside the building.

  • In many cases, HHFC recommends that the first session be attended by parents or caregivers only. This allows the therapist to gather background information and collaborate with you on how best to support your child. The referral coordinator will guide you in deciding who should attend the initial appointment. After that session, your HHFC therapist will work with you to thoughtfully introduce your child to therapy in a way that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and welcomed.
